Chirper  Chiller

         A new product has been developed that can pay for itself in a matter of weeks and then start putting a great deal of extra money in your pocket after that.

         And that’s just the start of the benefits for the new “Chirper Chiller.”

         This new unit allows you to shut off the HVAC inside the Mobile MRI when not being used to scan.  This not only saves money on electricity but will prolong the life of the HVAC system and reduce maintenance dictated by number of run hours.

        The "Chirper Chiller" runs 24/7 (at a cost of around $21.00 per 24 hours depending on the cost per KWH for your area) to keep the cold head compressor within required operating range at a fraction of the cost required to run the HVAC on the Mobile MRI. The Chirper Chiller will satisfy the cooling requirements of the cold head compressor for any required length of time.  480 volt service is still required to run the heater and cold head compress motor.

         Any time the MRI unit has been powered by the “Chirper Chiller" for a period of more than 12 hours it is suggested the Mobile MRI HVAC be run for a minimum of 4 hours to displace any humidity inside the control room before using the scanner.

Stationary Model Chirper Chiller 230 Volt 3 Phase

Stationary Model:  Designed for “in house” MRI systems.  Can supply chilled glycol to the cold head compressor and the gradient cabinet as required by the scanner manufacturer.  Can be used to replace aging systems in a cost effective manner.
